Choosing the right apprenticeship can be challenging, especially given the wide range of career options available. So how do you find the right career?<\/p>\n

What is an apprenticeship?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The apprenticeship always leads to a Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) within 3 or 4 years, or to a Federal Vocational Certificate (EBA) within 2 years. The minimum age requirement for starting an apprenticeship is 15. This dual training program combines practical training at the training company with theoretical instruction at a vocational school. The EFZ apprenticeship can be combined with the vocational baccalaureate (BMS).<\/p>\n

Other offers: IMS, HMS and internships<\/h2>\n

In some professions, it is also possible to attend a full-time school program. This involves attending a training workshop, commercial college (HMS), or IT college (IMS). During the basic training, an internship is completed in order to gain practical experience.<\/p>\n

How do I choose the right apprenticeship?<\/h2>\n

Du kannst dann nach bestimmten Lehrstellen Ausschau halten.<\/p>\n

The trial apprenticeship<\/h2>\n

A trial apprenticeship is also highly recommended. This allows you to experience everyday working life first-hand and assess whether a particular profession is right for you. Once you know which apprenticeship you want to pursue, you should start looking for apprenticeship positions in that field. Don't wait too long, because popular apprenticeships tend to fill up quickly. We generally recommend that you start looking during the second half of your second year of secondary schools so that you have an apprenticeship position lined up for the first semester of your third year.<\/p>\n
