Langgymikurs ZAP-Vorbereitung Gymiprüfung – Start August 2026 für die 6. Klasse

In this course, we will concentrate specifically on preparing for the short-term Gymnasium. The focus will be on the core subjects of German and mathematics. In German lessons, we train text comprehension, expand basic grammatical knowledge and systematically practise writing essays in various forms. In mathematics, we delve deeper into key topics such as term formations and calculations in algebra, geometry and challenging text problems. Particular attention is paid to mastering the core skills so that you can meet the requirements at the highest performance level. In addition, we practise dealing with typical exam tasks and formats in order to prepare you optimally for the entrance exam to the short-term Gymnasium.

Note: It is not necessary to have attended the preparatory course for grades 5/6 beforehand. The preparatory course for Gymnasium I can be booked independently.

This course follows on from the long-term Gymnasium course ZAP preparation for Gymnasium examination I – starting in August 2025 for 6th grade – and consolidates what has been learned while supplementing knowledge for the ZAP. The course focuses on preparing for various types of exam questions and applying solution strategies to particularly difficult tasks. The exam material is practiced diligently in the course and learning progress is continuously monitored.

In this course, we will concentrate specifically on preparing for the short-term Gymnasium. The focus will be on the core subjects of German and mathematics. In German lessons, we train text comprehension, expand basic grammatical knowledge and systematically practise writing essays in various forms. In mathematics, we delve deeper into key topics such as term formations and calculations in algebra, geometry and challenging text problems. Particular attention is paid to mastering the core skills so that you can meet the requirements at the highest performance level. In addition, we practise dealing with typical exam tasks and formats in order to prepare you optimally for the entrance exam to the short-term Gymnasium.

Exam simulation for long and short high school programs

Gerade wenn man so lange auf eine Prüfung sich vorbereitet, ist es wichtig, dies unter Zeitdruck und realitätsnah zu üben. In unserer exklusiver Simulationsprüfung können sich Schülerinnen und Schüler einen Eindruck vom aktuellen Wissensstand holen. Wir entwickeln eine komplette neue Prüfung basierend auf dem aktuellen Prüfungsreglement des Kanton Zürich (ZAP-Reglement 2026/2027). Die Prüfung wird ausführlich korrigiert, benotet und mit einem schriftlichen Feedback versehen.

Des Weiteren werden die Resultate der Prüfungssimulation Gymnasium und die verbleibende Prüfungsvorbereitung anschliessend persönlich einer Lehrperson besprochen.

The Prüfungssimulation für die Aufnahmeprüfung ZAP 2027 findet in Küsnacht oder Zürich statt.

Course content for long-term high school:

In-depth study of exam-relevant material from 6th grade, in particular decimal numbers, fractions, proportionality, and word problems in mathematics, as well as reading comprehension, essay writing, and basic grammar in German. Comprehensive revision and ZAP exams under time pressure, including tactics. Comprehensive revision of short-term secondary school material and ZAP exams.

Course content for short-term high school:

In-depth study of exam-relevant material from the second secondary level, in particular equations, fractions, proportionality, and word problems in mathematics, as well as text comprehension, essay writing, and basic grammar in German. Comprehensive review of short-term secondary school material and solving ZAP exams under time pressure, including tactics.
