Gymnasium Trial Period
The preparation is divided into two courses

Basis of the preparation course
In the initial phase of the preparatory course, the fundamental topics are thoroughly explored in order to achieve the highest level of performance. The curriculum covers core competencies in German and mathematics. In German, the focus is on essay structure and grammatical knowledge, particularly in word and sentence syntax. Mathematics covers a range of basic skills: arithmetic, algebra, dealing with quantities and functions, probability tasks, statistics, and geometry. Students begin solving sample exam questions early on to ensure that they have mastered these skills.

Advanced preparation and exam simulation
The second part of the course delves deeper into the different types of exam questions and familiarizes participants with various problem-solving strategies and the challenges associated with each type of question. The material is constantly reviewed and practiced, with learning progress being closely monitored and evaluated. A mock exam is conducted under timed and realistic conditions to prepare students for the actual exam environment. This simulation is corrected, graded, and provided with written feedback. Finally, the results of the IMS exam simulation are discussed personally with an instructor who provides customized guidance and support.

Frequently asked questions.
What are Multicheck aptitude tests?
Multicheck suitability analyses assess how well suited an applicant is for a particular job. They test the academic and intellectual skills required to understand and fulfill the requirements of specific vocational training occupations. The test assesses the current level of school knowledge, thinking skills, and the ability to successfully complete job-specific tasks. Our courses prepare you for this test.
What is the best way to prepare for the Multicheck?
Preparation should begin three to six months before the test. It includes deepening your technical and methodological skills. It is also a good idea to take a mock exam to test the skills you have acquired under exam-like conditions.
Can the Multicheck aptitude analysis be taken more than once?
Yes, the Multicheck can be taken twice per occupational field within a test period. There is no minimum waiting period between the tests, but the result of the first test is noted on the certificate of the second test if they take place in the same year (same test period). It is therefore recommended that you only take the Multicheck a second time after the end of the first test period in order to avoid the note.
What score do I need to start training in my dream job?
The Multicheck assesses whether applicants meet the specific requirements for the desired job profile. If the score is lower than the aptitude score of 40, the likelihood of successful training is considered low. However, the final decision on whether to accept an applicant for the job still rests with the company.
When can the Multicheck aptitude test be taken for training courses starting next year?
Training companies generally require the Multicheck certificate, which has been available since mid-May of last year. New test periods always begin in mid-May.
Example
Start of training in summer 2025: The Multicheck can be taken from May 2024 and attached to the application. When is it advisable to conduct a Multicheck aptitude analysis?
Ideally, the Multicheck should be carried out from the second year of secondary school onwards in order to confirm suitability for an apprenticeship at an early stage and to explore other options if the suitability score is low.
Why were different versions of the Multicheck aptitude analyses developed?
The Multicheck can be completed in various occupational groups. This ensures that the skills and competencies tested are precisely tailored to the requirements of the individual occupational groups. It allows for a detailed assessment of whether the specific skills required for a particular occupational group are sufficiently developed.
What skills and characteristics are tested with the Multicheck aptitude analyses?
The Multicheck tests skills in areas such as mathematics, languages, logical thinking, memory, concentration, and technical understanding. It is used to assess and evaluate suitability for successful vocational training.
