Studypeak offers the ideal preparation for the Gymi exam for both the long and short-term Gymnasium. The courses are based on the official grammar school entrance exam in the canton of Zurich.
In the German training section, the topics of grammar, spelling, text comprehension, and essay writing are examined and explained in detail, and participants practice how to approach the individual tasks. In the mathematics training section, we find the areas of basic operations, proportionality and the rule of three, equations, combinatorics, geometry, and visualization.
Students also learn all the important skills and topics that are relevant for the Stellwerk in the training area of the Stellwerk. The training area is characterized by a mixture of theory and many different tasks so that the pupils can apply what they have learned directly.
The exam simulation tests whether the students can apply what they have learned and are therefore ready for the signal box test. After the exam simulation, there is also the option of returning to the training area to repeat individual difficulties and clarify any uncertainties.
The training area and the exam simulation are based on the official signal box test and therefore cover the following areas:

The studypeak probationary period course prepares pupils specifically for the probationary period at grammar school. Building on the requirements of the long and short-term grammar school in the canton of Zurich, the most important basics are consolidated and the academic level is strengthened in the long term.
The courses combine theory and practice in order to deepen knowledge and gain confidence in application. The focus is on all key subjects that are crucial during the probationary period:
- Latin (long-term grammar school)
- German
- Mathematics
- English
- French
- Biology
In this way, students can build on their grammar school preparation in the best possible way, close gaps and start the trial period with a feeling of confidence and pass it.
In our Basic Check program, students learn all the important content they need for the official Basic Check. In the training area, they canbuild and strengthen their skills in a targeted manner. The training prepares students optimally for the test by allowing them to work through all relevant topics at their own pace.
The exam simulation allows you to practise the real exam situation and find out whether you are ready for the basic check or whether certain topics should be covered in more depth in the training area.
